1. Nature of Work
VAN DARYL Co., Ltd. creates bespoke, made-to-order objects produced individually per commission. Each work is a custom, handcrafted piece. This is not retail or e-commerce. All inquiries are considered commission requests and are subject to review and acceptance. We reserve the right to decline any commission at our discretion.

2. Commission Process
A commission is only confirmed once:

• The project has been discussed and agreed in writing

• A deposit has been received and confirmed
   

Standard process:
Inquiry → Confirmation → Deposit → Production → Final Payment → Delivery
No production begins prior to deposit confirmation.

3. Pricing & Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate production

• The remaining 50% is due prior to delivery or shipment
   

Pricing is determined per commission and may vary based on complexity, materials, and scope.

4. Deposits
All deposits are strictly non-refundable. Deposits secure production time, materials, and scheduling and are considered committed once paid.

Exception:
If VAN DARYL is permanently unable to deliver the commissioned work, a refund may be issued at our discretion, excluding force majeure events (including but not limited to natural disasters, supply chain disruption, illness, or other events beyond reasonable control).

5. Production Timeline
All production timelines are estimates only.

Typical delivery timeframe is 8–12 months, depending on complexity, workload, and material availability.
Timelines may extend if required to maintain craftsmanship standards or due to external constraints. No fixed delivery date is guaranteed.

6. Commission Acceptance
Submission of an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance.We may:

• Accept or decline any commission prior to deposit

• Limit production volume at any time to preserve quality and capacity

A commission is only considered accepted once the deposit has been received.

7. Cancellation
Once a deposit has been paid:

• The commission cannot be cancelled for refund

• Deposits remain non-refundable under all standard circumstances
   

Cancellation requests prior to production may be considered at our discretion but are not guaranteed.

8. Delivery & Risk
Upon delivery or shipment:

• Full responsibility transfers to the client

• VAN DARYL is not liable for loss, damage, or deterioration after handover or dispatch
   

Assistance with packaging or logistics does not extend liability beyond delivery.

9. Intellectual Property
All designs, concepts, sketches, and production methods remain the intellectual property of VAN DARYL unless otherwise agreed in writing. No reproduction or derivative works are permitted without explicit authorization.

10. Limitation of Liability
VAN DARYL shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from ownership, use, or delay of any commissioned work.
All pieces are handcrafted and may include natural variation inherent to artisanal production.
